Dear Rabbi,
Laurie and I had a very nice time and appreciated the Yom Kippur services. The Snow King is a great place for Holiday gatherings...you and the cantor's presentation was a pleasure...Explanations that gave great meaning to our Jewish roots. I know this Laurie grew up not loving sitting thru her Church services and your commentaries and explanations kept her interest. Thanks so much and let's all look forward to a wonder New year.
Sincerely
Fred & Laurie

Hi Zalman –
These were the best High Holiday services I ever had the privilege to attend. I thought you did a superb job in all your comments, short and long, in helping make it meaningful and personal as well as communal. I thought you did a good job of keeping things moving. The location was excellent.
The one thing I would like is a tape done by Raizy or Adina with the prayers and tunes that you use so that I could learn in advance at my own pace, and be able to sing all the prayers. Singing is a very big part of the experience for me, and I hate to feel excluded by not knowing the tune.
Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Karin

Hi Rabbi,
I ask that you forgive me for getting this thank-you out so..late!!! A year late! Last year you sent out Chanukah menorah's to anyone who wanted one, I was blessed to receive one. As I got mine out this year I was reminded of the circumstances associated with this gift. In memory of your friend whose life was given in India a year ago. And your cry for forgiveness and peace! Let it be so! The offences to me are so minor compared to terrorism and hate. Your request spoke volumes to me of love, forgiveness and peace.
So I am sending you a gift in return to remind you that your cry of forgiveness and peace did not go unheard. This will be the second year I am celebrating Chanukah. The pamphlet included helped me understand more about the festival.
Thank you,
Bernadine

Dear Raizy & Zalman & Chabad
Thank you so much for the wonderful Purim treats! It gave me a chance to explain Purim to Billy and show him some old pictures of me when I was voted “Queen Esther” at our Purim Carnival (I musta been 10 or so). We loved the Hamantashen and everything else.
Thank you again for thinking of us.
Sincerely yours,
Holly Donnel O’Brien & Bill O’Brien

Dear Zalman,
Aviva and I again want to thank you and Raizy very much for your warm and very gracious hospitality on Shabbat. We also really enjoyed the energetic and beautiful Chaya and the opportunity to meet your parents. More generally, I want to say how grateful I am to Chabad for having a Jewish presence in Jackson, and to you in particular. I admire what you're doing, and will send you a contribution once I return to Bloomington. Please let me know how the check should be made out.
Moadim l'Simcha and best wishes,
David

Thanks Zalman!!
I read on their website something from Tanya - "that a Jew is a unifying link between the Creator and his World"
These words struck me in a powerful way and provide me with huge vision and possibility.
Thanks for your wisdom and guidance!
Happy Holidays!
Barry

Rabbi- Shalom and Welcome to Wyoming!
I was born and raised in Casper, and recently came back to the Great State for law school. While on a trip to Israel with Mayanot, I heard that Chabad was coming to Wyoming, and I didn't believe it.
I hope you have enjoyed your first summer. I will be back in Laramie in a couple of weeks. I know we are not that close, but please let me know any time you will be traveling the state.
Josh

Rabbi Zalman:
You may remember me as a friend of Andreas Thyssen, as I joined you guys for Passover Seder last year at your house. I have left Jackson for the time being and am in Tel Aviv attending medical school at Tel Aviv University. I am writing because I am going to be coming back to town at the end of December to spend the holiday week with my sister and spend some time teaching at the resort and was curious if there was anything that you guys would like me to bring over when I come from Israel. Let me know if I can help.
Regards,
Morgan Kellogg

Wow, the music festival sounds fantastic. Didn't plan ahead enough to get up there for it, but would love to come next year if this is a continuing tradition. Raizy, very nice thoughts on the Bible- We enjoy reading. Hope all is going well in Jackson for you, Zalman and your sweetheart and look forward to seeing you when you get down to Cheyenne. Carol
