Hospital Visitations

On a weekly basis or upon request, Rabbi Zalman or volunteers visit Jewish patients at St. John's hospital, to cheer them up, recite a prayer, get the Hebrew name for a "Mi-Sheberach" prayer to be recited in the synagogue, and offer any other assistance that might be needed.

A prolonged visit to the hospital is a sobering experience: things taken for granted are suddenly scarce, and patients almost always find themselves reevaluating their life's priorities. There is often no better time for compassionate guidance and support, and the representatives of Chabad supply it in ample measure.

Chabad staff bring Challah or flowers before Shabbat, good cheer, holiday spirit and hope to the Jewish patients they visit in their rounds to area places of healing.

If you know of anyone who would welcome a visit click here to send us an email or call 307-413-6123.
