A. The town of Jackson is sometimes mistakenly called Jackson Hole. That name refers only to the valley in which the town is located, not the town itself.

You will undoubtedly enjoy one of the most scenic places in the world while experiencing first hand Yellowstone and Teton National Parks wildlife, incredible ecosystem and geothermal features. Jackson Hole is also home to one of the worlds most beautiful ski resorts. This rich geological educational opportunity coupled with a most hospitable Western culture is located in but one place in the world. Here in Jackson Hole.

You may be surprised but the cost of property in Jackson Hole is very expensive. Ninety seven percent of the land here is conserved by the government for natural forest growth and is to remain undeveloped. Another 1% of land is held by private preservation foundations for natural growth and will remain undeveloped. Hence, the current median listing price for a home in Jackson Hole is $1,488,333.00.
