Snow King Trails & Skyline Trail
The Snow King mountain is steep - 1.8 miles and 1,571’ vertical. Strenuous to moderate depending on how you approach these hikes and how far you go. Some trails are very long and you will need to drop a car at one end for some. Note that the town is in sight for most of the hike. Another way to access this area is by taking the Snow King chair lift to the top and either riding back down or hiking.

Rodeo
In 1890, Sylvester Wilson brought the first group of settlers over Teton Pass into what is now Jackson Hole. He came with his family to raise cattle on the fertile grass, which grew abundantly in the valley. 120 years and six generations later, the pioneer spirit lives on through the Wilson family who continue the western heritage and traditions of the rodeo. Mormon Row to Kelly
Mormon Row, formerly known as the town of Grovont, was settled in the late 1890s by Mormons from the Salt Lake region. Due to the Homestead Act of 1862, which granted land ownership to any person willing to build a house and cultivate the area for five years, this community was able to establish a presence in the area east of Blacktail Butte. Settlers secured 27 homesteads that they built close together to share labor and community.
