About Us
The Chabad Jewish Center Wyoming serves the Jewish community with a continuous stream of dynamic spiritual, educational and social activities. Each year, hundreds from all walks of life are nourished, educated, united and inspired with cherished, traditional Torah values. Regardless of background, vocation or affiliation all are warmly welcomed at Chabad.

Our multidimensional organization exists to ensure that all Jews feel at home in Chabad. For over 12 years, the Chabad Jewish Center of Wyoming has been engaged in every part of Jewish community life, from spiritual guidance to wedding preparation, to burial services, and more.
Rabbi Zalman and Raizy Mendelsohn, Chabad staff, and volunteers work tirelessly to create:
- Quality children's programs
- Stimulating adult education courses
- Inspiring Shabbat and Holiday programs
- Jewish Learning Institute courses and classes
- Women’s gatherings
- Camp Gan Israel
- Retreats
- And more...
Our Mission
Our purpose is to create a positive Jewish experience for each individual, as they explore and strengthen their ties to Jewish identity and the Jewish community. We constantly strive to ensure the success and vitality of the Jewish community.
2019 Highlights
- Dozens of Jewish children attended our various children’s educational programs.
- From week to week, a varying number of homebound Jews received a Light of Shabbat homemade Challah, Jews who might not otherwise celebrate Shabbat at all. These Challah's, delivered personally, help alleviate the isolation that many homebound community members experience, and are critical to their well-being.
- Local Jews participated in over 3,000 hours of Jewish learning at Chabad of Wyoming, including Torah classes, JLI courses, and special lectures.
- Dozens of youth attend a variety of programs including the weekly Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons, Camp Gan Israel, and gather together for fun activities.
